Itinerary

Day 1Yangon City Sightseeing

After breakfast, meet our friendly guide at the hotel and start the walking tour by seeing City Hall, colonial building with Myanmar Architectural Style, Sule Pagoda, Rowe and Co-operative Department Building, High Court, Emmanuel Baptist Church and Independence Monument from the Mahabandoola Park which is in the heart of Yangon. After that, continue walking to see the colonial buildings such as Telegraph Office, Rander House, Lokanat Building, Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank, Inland Waterway Department, Myanmar Port Authority, Currency Office and Strand Hotel. Then, take a visit to Botahtaung Pagoda that houses the hair relic of Buddha and lies on the bank of Yangon river.
Lunch at a local restaurant – Our guide will take care of choosing the best restaurant for you. ¬
After lunch, continue the visit to Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott Market) for your shopping. And then, Kandawgyi lake to enjoy the panoramic view of Shwedagon Pagoda and Royal Barge, Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha Image which is known for its massive structure and, the last and the best, visit the Shwedagon Pagoda known as the first Buddhist pilgrimage in Myanmar, the most famous tourist attraction and land mark of Yangon. After that, back to hotel.

Day 2Yangon – Bago – Golden Rock

In the morning, drive to. On the way, visit to Allied War Memorial Cemetery It is located at Htauk Kyant. It is a memorial cemetary of allied soldiers who died in Myanmar campaign during the 2nd World War. Then continue to Bago to visit Kha Khat Waing monastery. It is the biggest teaching monastery of lower Myanmar. You can see the daily life of Buddhist Monks. Then visit to Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda, the highest one in Myanmar. Lunch at Bago. After lunch, continue to Golden Rock. On the way, visit to A Byar village to see dried fishes market. Then continue to Golden Rock. Our car will stop at the base of the mountain and take the opened truck to visit to Golden Rock (over 3,000ft above sea level). After check in, visit to Golden Rock. Overnight at Golden Rock.

Day 3Golden Rock – Mawlamyine

After breakfast, back to the base of the mountain by taking opened truck. Then continue to Mawlamyine, also known as Little England. Firstly, we will pass Mawlamyaing and visit to Allied War Cemetery and Dead Railway in Thanphyuzayat. Then visit to Win Sein Taw Ya, world biggest reclining Buddha Image. Then back to Mawlamyaing and visit to Sein Tone Ancient Monastery. And then, enjoy sunset and panoramic view of Mawlamyaing from KyaikThalan Pagoda. In the evening, visit to Mawlamyine night market on the bank of Thanlwin river. Overnight at Mawlamyine.

Day 4Mawlamyine – Bilu Island – Hpa-an

After breakfast, cross the Thanlwin river and visit around Bilu Island(Ogre Island) is an island in Chaungzon Township, Mon State, located west of Mawlamyine. The island is roughly the size of Singapore, and population is over 200,000 people. The Mon State government began a construction project to build a 1,586 metres (5,203 ft) bridge, the Bilu Island-Thanlwin Bridge, to connect Mawlamyine’s Mupun jetty to Bilu Island’s Ka-nyaw village. Bilu Island is not connected to the national electricity grid. The people in this island depend on home industries. We will visit Black Board workshop(Slate), rubber band workshop, weaving process and wooden pipes, pencils and pen workshop. And also, we can see the living style of Mon people. In the afternoon back to Mwalamying. After lunch, drive to Hpa-An, Kayin State. On the way, visit to U Nar Out Monastery, to see hidden masterpiece of Myanamr. Then continue to Hpa- An. After arriving to Hpa An, visit to Kyauk Kalat Pagoda, then visit to Shwe Yin Hmyaw Pagoda to enjoy sunset beside of the Thanlwin river. Overnight at Hpa-An.

Day 5Hpa-An – Yangon

After Breakfast, visit to Kantharyar Park to see Panoramic view of Mt. Zwe Ka Bin . Then, visit to Sadan Cave. At Sadan cave, you can enjoy by taking boat crossing inside of the cave. Then, visit to Kaw Gun Cave where you can see the numerous ancient small Buddha Images on the wall of the cave and Yathae Pyan Cave. After lunch, back to Yangon.
