In the morning, drive to Mt. Popa, 50km to the southeast of Bagan and it takes about 1 and half hour to drive. On the way visit to Palm Fields to see Palm Sugar (Jaggery) production and you can taste Palm juice. Then continue driving to Mt. Popa.  It is an extinct Volcano covered with a forest and it is like an Oasis in the dry zone. You can see the Nats (Spirits) Shrine and enjoy the Panoramic view from the top of the Rocky Cliff.  Then visit to Sat Sat Yo Village. The highlight of the village is the children with the ancient hairstyle ‘Satyitwine’ which is like a top-knot on the head. The villagers harvest sesame seeds in the surrounding fields and it is great to experience a truly rural life. Then, back to Bagan.
