Day-1:Kalaw – Taunpaw Gyi – Yasargyee ( By car and trek)
Day-2:Yasargyee – Me~neltaung – Pindaya.
Kalaw – Pindaya
Breakfast your hotel, then 45 minutes drives by car to your trekking start point. On the way to Taungpaw gyi monastery there you will pass palaung and Paoh villages with tea plantation and orange farms. This area is no touristic place and great scenery along the trek way. The ground is change to red to brown and to yellow, pine trees and small forest along on your way of 6 hours uphill trek. Night over at Taungpaw gyi Monastery.
Having Shan style breakfast at monastery continues to downhill trek through Me~nel Taung and sein pan pin village there also pines and some forest. Your lunch will be village or under pine tre what will you mention it? This trek will be taking 5 hours. In the late afternoon you will get to Pindaya where lime cave with 8000 different shape and design of Buddha images have.
This trekking area landscape is very awesome, local people from there you can see with their traditional dress and living ways of life.
No electric at there, temperature is 3 degree Celsius at January.
No need mosquito net, bed sheets there your night stop monastery will provide if you request, but you need to bring your towel.
The best time for older travelers is (October to March) no rain much nowhere else slippery, (June to Early October) is rainy time the ground become muddy and make slip. So that time is good for young travelers and recommend to experienced trekkers.
